Our Mother’s Day Dinner Menu

Appetizer/Cocktails: Tortilla chips and six-layer dip (premade from Vons, but proven to be absolutely delicious, and very convenient), and Skinnygirl Margaritas (by Bethenny Frankel), which I’m very excited to try for the first time!

Entrée: Grilled steaks (marinated overnight), corn on the cob (seasoned with butter and garlic and wrapped in foil), and asparagus (all made with love by my husband and master griller, Bobby); and salad.

Dessert: mini (adorable) white cupcakes (also premade) and vanilla and chocolate Haagen-Dazs ice cream.

As you can see, this meal, while wonderful, requires no slaving over a hot stove all day (and minimal dishes to do afterward).
